Our story
Made with intention, given with love
Hi, I'm Tara
I'm a wife, mom of two, and an Early Childhood Educator and Early Interventionist — someone who has spent most of her adult life showing up for others in meaningful ways. That instinct to nurture and connect is woven into everything I do, including how I approach gifting.
Before The Gift Edit, I ran a successful event business called Glampout — and while I loved the creativity it brought out in me, it kept me away from my family on weekends, which is time I wasn't willing to give up. I needed something that fed my creativity, let me help people, and still left room for the people I cherish most. This business is exactly that.
I started The Gift Edit because I've always believed that gifting is an act of love — a beautiful way to tell someone, "I see you." Love deserves more than a last-minute Amazon order. But life gets busy. Between work, kids, and all the chaos, it's hard to express yourself the way you truly want to. That's where I come in. You hire me for the convenience and the creative edge — and I make sure the person receiving it feels every bit of the thought behind it.
Personal
Every basket is built around one specific person, not a generic recipient.
Intentional
Nothing goes in a basket that doesn't belong there. Every item is chosen with purpose.
Beautiful
Presentation matters. Every basket is styled, wrapped, and finished by hand.
"I've always believed gifting was a beautiful way to say "I see you""
